Why is it that humans can be so cruel to animals without a second thought? So many of us seem to think that we are the superior race, and that we simply have the right to use other animals and inflict pain on them as a sport! Did any of you hear about the man who beat up a poor innocent kangaroo in Australia for the sport of it? Or the person who shot and killed a newly introduced Red Kite in the UK?
On the bigger scale of things, all creatures are put on earth for a reason, and not one of those reasons would be for humans to senselessly go around beating things up for fun! For years, men have used animals for sport; whether it is shooting, or bull fighting, or hunting. All those things may be wrong and cruel to animals, and all over the world there are activists that fight against it on a daily basis. Then you put on the radio and you hear about some crazy yob that just beat up an animal because he could, and that is just infuriating! What has this world come to that we cannot try to live in peace with the beautiful world that is ours? How many innocent animals have ever inflicted pain on you? And why would anyone ever contemplate hurting something for the fun of it?
