Car taxes have recently gone up in price; apparently only for gas guzzling vehicles though! Yet people who bought large cars years ago are not only being punished for what kind of car they have, but also by the hike in petrol prices all over the country! Not only are car taxes going up in price, but council tax and house bills are also due to go up in the next couple of months. How will people cope with these sharp increases in prices?
Tax and household spending is by far continuing to rise at a faster rate than people are getting money in. Taxes are increasing at a faster rate than earnings and has been doing so for many years. Is this trend going to stop? People all over the country are starting to struggle with debts and bills. Gas bills and electric bills are set to go this winter adding an additional burden on families everywhere. At the rate things are going at the moment, it is no wonder that half the population are trying to emigrate!
