Is this one of the worst summers that we have ever seen, or is it just that we only remember the good days from last year? The last few weeks, we have seen nothing but rain, rain and more rain in many parts of the country. Rain is great in moderation, but it would definitely be a nice time to see a little bit of sunshine. The weather forecast these days never seems to change. If it is a low pressure area in one part of the country, it seems to spread across only to be replaced by another low pressure area. People all over the place are all saying the same thing: that it is the worst summer ever. Midsummer’s day is meant to be the middle of the summer, yet it feels like it hasn’t even started yet. In April, it was still snowing in many parts of the country which leaves you to wonder whether it is really springtime now. It is still cold now, and yet it is the middle of July. Is it possible to jump from a snowy winter to summer in the space of a month and to skip over a season entirely? If it is spring now instead of summer, then maybe that means that we still have some sunshine to look forward to later on in the year? What are your thoughts?
